Legislative Action Center

One of the greatest aspects of America’s democratic system is the right to voice your opinion and hold legislators accountable for their decisions. As a constituent, your voice is heard loudest in the Capitol Hill offices of those men and women who represent you in Congress.

The Legislative Action Center is a powerful tool that provides a quick and easy way to get in touch with your legislator about issues that affect you as a member of the optics and photonics community.

OSA will periodically provide the text of a letter pertaining to a current issue that you can send directly to your senator or representative on your behalf. You also have the option of composing your own letter on an issue of your choice. OSA has provided background information (“What's At Stake”) for each issue for your convenience.
