The OSA Student Chapter Education Outreach Library is an online portfolio that enables student chapters to share information, presentations, experiments and other educational tools and outreach materials.
The Library contains nearly 100 educational resources for promoting and fostering optics-related outreach to elementary through high school students. All OSA chapters are encouraged to post descriptions of their outreach activities and download presentations and demonstrations from peer chapters. Access to this resource is free to all chapters.
Getting your chapter’s user name and password:
- Designate one representative who will be responsible for your chapter’s access to the Outreach Library.
Once your representative is assigned, your chapter will have access to all the information in the Library and will be able to post outreach materials, pictures and discussion topics.

Chapters are able to post and update their outreach and reference materials.

Chapters are able to participate in discussion streams and can post questions, propose new projects, and receive feedback from peers at other chapters.
