Submit Member News

OSA wants to promote the important achievements of our members in the Member Community News section of OSA.org. If you would like to share news about a colleague or yourself with the OSA community, please send an announcement to submitmembernews@osa.org using the following format.

• Subject line of the email: Please include “Member News” and the member’s name in the subject line of your email.
• Type of news: Appropriate topics include research milestones or other significant scientific achievements, professional accolades, awards or recognitions, promotions or new positions, and obituaries.
• Summary of news: Please provide a 50 – 200 word summary of the news.  If available, please provide a link to a press release or Web site for further information.
• Biography of newsmaker: Please include a 50 – 200 word biography of the member making the news.
• Contact information: Please provide a contact name and email address for OSA members to request additional information.

Your submission will be reviewed for posting.  Accepted submissions may be edited and/or formatted by OSA.
