Q:  How do I access my Physics Today Online subscription?

A: To access Physics Today Online you must first establish an account by visiting: http://scitation.aip.org/journals/doc/SCITATION/register/PT_findmy_account.jsp.  You
will be asked to provide the email address that you registered with OSA .

Q: How do I access my OSA online journal subscription?

A:  To access your OSA online subscriptions, visit www.OpticsInfoBase.org, click “My Account”.  You will be prompted to login using your email address and your OSA password. (Note: Your OSA password will be your member number unless you requested it to be changed.)  New users will be asked to agree to the terms of the “OSA User Agreement”.  If you are a returning subscriber, once you login you will have access to your online journal subscriptions, and OPN Online. The login process also provides you with access to the members-only section of OSA.org.

Q:  I forgot my OSA password, how can I retrieve it?

A:  Please visit this page, you will be asked to enter your email address.  An email message with your password information will be sent to you via email.

Q:  I am a working in a Post Doctorate program, which OSA member type should I select?

A: OSA student members who have graduated qualify for “Student Graduated Membership”. This membership provides the benefits of OSA Regular Membership at a reduced dues rate. If you are currently in a post doctorate program, but were not previously an OSA student member, you do not qualify for the “Student Graduated Membership” and are encouraged to join as an OSA Regular Member.

Q:  How do I access the members-only section of OSA.org? What information is in this section?

A:  When visiting osa.org, you may access the members-only section by clicking on the “login” button in the upper right hand corner of OSA’s homepage www.osa.org.  You will be prompted to enter your email address and your OSA password.

The members-only services include: OSA Member Directory/Search Engine, OSA Bylaws, Member Newsletter archive, OSA Member Guide, and OSA Member Certificate order form.

Q: How can I get a replacement membership card?

A:  To request a replacement membership care, please email OSA Customer Service at custserv@osa.org or call +1.202.416.1907 or 800.766.4672.

Q:  How do I change my address or other contact information?

A:  The easiest and fastest way to update your contact information is to log into the MyOSA section of osa.org (click “Login” in the top right corner of osa.org).  You will be asked to provide your email and OSA password.  Once logged in, click “Contact Information”.  From there, click the “edit” button in the name and address section of your profile. 

Q: Who do I contact if I am have questions about by subscriptions?

Q: Who do I contact to learn about becoming an OSA volunteer?

Q: How long is an OSA membership term?

A: OSA member terms are typically 12 months.  Members are also able to purchase 5-year and lifetime memberships.
