Registration is now CLOSED. On-Site registration will be available at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.

Registration Hours

Full Conference Registration

The registration fee for FTS includes admission to ALL technical sessions, the conference reception, refreshment breaks, the exhibit and a copy of the Technical Digest (containing the abstracts and summaries from FTS on CD-ROM).

Student Registration

To be eligible for the student rate, the individual must be enrolled in a full-time PhD or Masters program. Those enrolled in Post Doctoral programs are NOT eligible for student rates. Students are entitled to the same privileges as regular registrants. Students are required to present valid student identification at the time of registration.

Emeritus Registration

Emeritus members may also register at the discounted rate. To qualify for emeritus status, members must be fully retired and must have been an OSA member for at least 10 years. The member's age plus the number of years of membership in OSA must equal 75 years or more.

Extra Conference Reception Ticket
A Spring Congress conference reception will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 in the evening. A ticket to the reception is only included in the Full Technical Registration fee. Guest tickets may be purchased for $60 per person.

Extra Technical Digest on CD-ROM
One copy of the Technical Digest on CD-ROM is included with the Full Technical Registration. Extra copies of the Technical Digest on CD-ROM will be available at the meeting for $75.

Checks and Money Orders

All checks must be in US dollars and made payable to the Optical Society of America. Please indicate the check number on the registration form.

Bank Drafts and Wire Transfers

Please indicate on your registration form which bank was used and when the deposit was made. Also, please notify OSA of the transfer to avoid any lost or unidentified payments. If you have additional questions about this process, please contact the OSA Accounting department at hcorte@osa.org.

Refund Policy for Registration

NO REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER APRIL 8, 2009.
