Housing

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved for the convenience of meeting attendees at the Hotel Nikko Nara. The meeting sleeping room rates are:

**A limited number of each room type is available.  Please make your reservation as soon as possible to receive your preferred room type.
**Breakfast is included in the OSA room rate above. Be sure to ask for the OSA rooms.

Single Room:                   Room Size:  172 sq feet or 16 sq meters Bed Type:  1 Twin Bed
Double (Twin) Room for Single Occupancy: Room Size:  279 sq feet or 26 sq meters Bed Type:  Two Twin beds or One Queen size bed.
Double (Twin) Room for Double Occupancy: Room Size:  279 sq feet or 26 sq meters Bed Type:  Two Twin beds or One Queen size bed.

All guest rooms are newly renovated with new beddings, a flat screen TV, a large work desk and complimentary high speed internet access (for some rooms, based on availability).

Reservations may be made by calling the hotel directly or by calling Reservation Centers for Nikko Hotels International toll free and requesting the Optical Society of America group rate:

Reservations may also be made by faxing the hotel form directly to the hotel:

The Hotel Nikko Nara must receive reservations no later than December 25, 2007.  

After this date, the balance of the rooms will be released to the hotel.

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Attendees canceling a reservation must cancel by 12 noon at least Seven (7) days prior to their scheduled arrival date. 

Attendees who wish to receive a confirmation receipt from Nikko Nara, should request one upon making the housing reservation.  The confirmation receipt will be sent via fax or email within 5 business days.
