Announcing the LEOS/OSA Student Presentation Award
Any undergraduate or graduate student of an educational institution of collegiate grade who is devoting more than half-time to studies within the institution is eligible for this award. Students must be listed as the presenting author of the paper submitted to AOE to be considered for the award.
Each of the four subcommittees will choose one student presentation based on technical advances, value to the technical community of interest and skill of public presentation.
Each award winner will receive a US $500 check and an award certificate.
Selection Process:
Each subcommittee will propose four to six finalists from the submitted presentations. Finalists will be notified by Sept. 15, of their selection. Finalists will be asked to provide copies of their slides or poster presentations by Oct. 22 for advance review by the selection committees, who will then attend the presentation during AOE. Award winners will be announced at the conclusion of AOE.
