About the 2013 Science Educators' Day
In 2013, we held our annual Science Educators’ Day (EDAY) in Orlando, FL USA and welcomed 85 science educators. The program included the winner of the 2007 Robert A. Millikan award of the American Association of Physics Teachers for “notable and creative contributions to the teaching of physics” David R. Sokoloff from the University of Oregon. You can view the 2013 EDAY video here!
The 2013 EDAY Program (including Lesson Plans and an Activity Guide) and the Active Learning in Light and Optics: Optics Magic Tricks and Interactive Lecture Demonstrations Guide are now available online.
Here are two pieces of information from David Sokoloff that may be useful for your classroom:
The other Activity Based Physics materials are available for high school teachers as part of the High School E-Dition. Click here for more information.
