pcDVT is a forum for the presentation of research in the field of distributed volume turbulence, to include the characterization of the disturbance, as well as, propagation through it.
In this forum, we discuss the physics of light in distributed volume turbulence. Since propagating through distributed volume turbulence is a new field of research, this forum expedites collaboration and cultivates a multidisciplinary exchange of information designed to expand our understanding of the full complexity of distributed volume turbulence, drawing upon the most recent results from the fields of boundary layer physics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, meteorology, laser sciences, and singular optics. The forum's discussion covers topics formerly not associated with atmospheric turbulence, such as the creation of photonic orbital angular momentum and parallels between Earth's atmosphere and astronomical TAMA
