OSA Biophotonics Congress: The Optics in Today’s Life Sciences

Luminaries and leaders in biophotonics to deliver keynote presentations

SAN DIEGO – Optical technologies make a significant impact on biology and medicine. They can be used for imaging and sensing everything from molecules to man. The OSA Biophotonics: Optics in Life Sciences is comprised of five topical meetings highlighting the ever increasing role of optics in the study and treatment of various challenges in the life sciences ranging from molecular level investigations to clinical treatment of patients.

At this Congress, the latest advancements in molecular probe development, life science imaging, novel and more powerful optical instrumentation and its application to study fundamental biological processes and clinical investigations will be presented. This Congress will bring together leaders in the field whose contributions are significantly advancing the state of the art in biological and medical research through the use of optical technologies.

The Joint Plenary Session will feature three speakers discussing topics of interest to all attendees.
