Fourier Transform Spectroscopy (FTS)

The FTS Topical Meeting addresses laboratory spectroscopy, atmospheric remote sensing, astrophysical observation, industrial applications as well as new instrumental developments, calibration, and algorithms.

Fourier transform spectrometry is growing in application and utilization. It has become the technique of choice in astronomy, Earth and planetary sciences, laboratory spectroscopy, and industrial process control. This meeting encompasses the whole range of FTS technology and applications, including comb techniques, calibration, and data processing algorithms.  This is the only international FTS conference where engineers and scientists from diverse fields can join together to present and discuss new ideas.

Topic Categories

  1. Applications: Astronomy, Earth, and Planetary Science
  2. Instrumental developments: Imaging FTS and Static FTS
  3. Laboratory Spectroscopy: Comb Techniques
  4. Calibration and data processing algorithms
