India’s pioneering knowledge acumen has flourished in the software domain for ages. Nevertheless, electronic hardware industry is not known to be at par with software industry. International conference of this sort would pave an avenue to nurture budding researchers to invest their research engagement through such forums. In this context, the organizing committee of ICNETS2 has embarked on hosting a grand international gathering at VIT University, Chennai campus to discuss and exchange latest research nuances happening across the globe. Therefore, we have nurtured our thoughts into reality by organizing ICNETS2 which encompasses SIX symposia covering all aspects of Electronics and Communication Engineering domains which include relevant nano/micro materials and devices as well (more details can be had from www.icnets2.com). The symposium D is dedicated for Optical and Microwave Technologies The ICNETS2 is aimed at providing a forum for engineers, scientists, industrialist, post docs and budding researchers to present their research findings and share their knowledge/experience relating to recent advancements and current opinions in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. It is estimated that more than 900 presenters will attend the conference from diverse background and culture making the event a truly international.
