What Will My Company Win?
Exposure, Publicity, Recognition, Excitement, Opportunities, Education

Your company will be featured on our global platform to acknowledge the work being done in the corporate optics community which is impacting the world, its products and people.

  1. An OSA produced video featuring your company, your customer’s company and the consumer talking about the specific technology featured in your submission.
  2. Featured presentation of the video at an awards ceremony at OSA’s Annual Meeting, Frontiers in Optics.
  3. Extensive promotion of your winning submission and video using OSA communication channels:
    1. OSA.org (homepage, media library, industry resources, etc.)
    2. OSA e-newsletters (Industry Newsmakers, individual member newsletter, corporate newsletter, Optics Legislative Network, etc.)
    3. Press outreach to consumer and trade press plus a multi-media press release featuring your OSA produced video
    4. Emails to OSA customers
  4. Potential media coverage and interviews in trade and consumer press outlets.
  5. Video presentation shown at appropriate OSA events – this could include Educator’s Day, Capitol Hill Programs, OSA Booth at Industry Shows, etc.
  6. Circulation to K-12 educators as a resource to excite the next generation of scientists and engineers.
  7. Exposure to policy makers to educate them about the impact optics has on society, business, the economy, jobs, etc.
  8. Exposure on the OSA YouTube channel.

All submissions will be posted to a public online library available as a resource to the optics community, educators, policy makers, and consumers to increase awareness of optics as an enabling technology by featuring its lesser known role in products which are well known to the general public.
