OIDA Sponsored Webinar: Optical Domain Testing of Coherent Optical Modules

19 October 2020 11:00 - 12:00

Eastern Time (US & Canada) (UTC -05:00)

With the recent release of the OIF 400ZR standard, test engineers are now focused on updating test strategies across all phases of their product development process including design validation, compliance and manufacturing. Tightening performance standards present increased challenges to test system design while at the same time, cost expectations are become more and more challenging. Test engineers are clearly on the front line. This webinar will explore key test design and implementation challenges that will need to be overcome.

Topics will include:

  • Cost effective implementation of OSNR penalty testing
  • The role of advanced signal conditioning devices to monitor functions
  • Managing test system loss
  • Transitioning to manufacturing
