Funding issues in the start-up phase may be explored; regulatory hurdles along the way examined; recovery from missteps reviewed; even challenges once a company matures and is ripe for its leaders to begin the exit process may be pondered. The hot issues of ultra-fast laser applications in the industrial market will be presented, and the market developing tendency and volume of ultra-fast lasers in China will be analyzed and estimated.
Bio: Dayong Min is Vice President of Huagong Tech Co., Ltd., and Chairman and President of Huagong Laser Engineering Co., Ltd. He serves as Deputy Director of High-power Laser Device Application Technical Committee, Vice Chairman of Laser Association of The Chinese Optical & Optoelectronics Manufacturers Association (COEMA), Vice Chairman of Wuhan Laser Association of Optics Valley of China, and Director of Laser Institute of Hubei Province. Dayong Min has led many award-winning laser development projects, published more than thirty articles, including ten patents.
