Solid State and Organic Lighting (SOLED)

03 - 07 November 2013
JW Marriott Tucson Star Pass, Tucson, Arizona, USA

Today LEDs and OELEDs are well embraced by mobile imaging and display, smart phone and tablets, TV and special lighting. Within the next 25 years, SOLED will become mainframe of future lighting. General lighting and illumination will undergo a revolution. Incandescent as well as gas discharge lamps will be gradually replaced by highly efficient organic and inorganic semiconductor devices. The tremendous and ongoing progress relies on advances in material science, device packaging and light management. The meeting will cover all aspects of solid state lighting ranging from new material development and device physics to the design of efficient luminaire optics.
