New!!! - Committee/Presenting Author

Committee Members and Presenting Authors for the Optics in the Life Sciences Congress can now register at a special discounted rate! To take advantage of this rate, registrants must have contributed to the meeting by participating on a committee or by presenting a paper at the Optics in the Life Sciences Congress.

Full Conference Registration

The registration fee for Optics in the Life Sciences Congress includes admission to all BODA/NTM/OMP/OTA technical sessions, exhibit, coffee breaks/refreshments, the Congress Luau, one copy of the 2013 Congress Program and Technical Digest on CD-ROM as well as perpetual access to the papers on Optics InfoBase and Content Capture.

Student Registration

Full-time students (graduate and undergraduate) are entitled to the same privileges as regular registrants. Students are required to present valid student identification when they pick up their registration materials.

Emeritus Registration

Emeritus members may also register at the discounted rate. To qualify for emeritus status, members must be fully retired and must have been an OSA member for at least 10 years. The member's age plus the number of years of membership in OSA must equal 75 years or more.

Exhibit Only Registration

Exhibit Only registration allows attendees to access only the exhibit hall. This registration does NOT include access to the Technical Sessions, Congress Luau or a Program with Technical Digest on CD-ROM. To attend any of the technical sessions or receive the Program, you must register for a Technical Registration.

Extra Congress Luau Ticket - Monday, 15 April, 19:00 - 20:30

One Congress Luau ticket is included in the Full Technical Fee. Guest tickets may be purchased for US$ 125 per person. This is a great opportunity to network and enjoy Polynesian fare, as well as some familiar favorite dishes, in a beautiful Hawaiian setting.

Program and Technical Digest

Extra copies of the Congress Program and Technical Digest on CD-ROM are available for purchase for US $75.

Payment Information:

Checks and Money Orders

All checks must be in US dollars and made payable to the Optical Society of America. Please indicate the check number on the registration form.

Bank Drafts and Wire Transfers

Please indicate on your registration form which bank was used and when the deposit was made. Also, please notify OSA of the transfer to avoid any lost or unidentified payments.

Refund Policy for Registration

A US $75 service charge will be assessed for processing refunds. A letter requesting the refund should state the registrant's name and the amount of payment and should be faxed to +1 202.416.6140 or submitted through help.osa.org. Requests for refunds that are received by 1 April 2013 will be honored. All refund requests must be made in writing.

Refunds based on the inability to get a visa will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Please begin the visa application process early. The visa process can take as long as 3 months in some cases.

NO REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER 1 April 2013.
