Limited opportunities to assist with on-site logistically support in exchange for a registration fee waiver. Student volunteers are needed to assist with onsite registration and content capture. Contact the meeting manager to learn about opportunities for this meeting.

Travel grants to students from qualifying developing nations
The OSA Foundation Student Travel Grants
Deadline to apply for the grant for the Imaging and Applied Optics Congress is 19 April 2013.
The OSA Foundation provides travel support to students working or studying in developing nations so that they may attend OSA-managed technical meetings. Travel grants average $1,500 USD per award.

Robert S. Hilbert Memorial Student Travel Grant
Deadline to apply for the Hilbert grant is 7 May 2013.
This program recognizes the research excellence of students in the areas of optical engineering, lens design and illumination design. In 2013 grants will be awarded for the Imaging and Applied Optics Congress. Optical Solutions Group at Synopsys is the sponsor of this program.
