On behalf of the Workshop on Super Intense Laser-Atom Physics (SILAP 2012), it is our privilege to invite you to attend The Workshop on Super Intense Laser-Atom Physics (SILAP 2012), which will be held on September 23-25, 2012 in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. We are looking forward to welcoming our friends and colleagues both from abroad and China. The Workshop on Super Intense Laser-Atom Physics (SILAP 2012) will be held during the period of September 23-25, 2012 in Suzhou. It will be organized by Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. SILAP has been continuing a series of successful conferences which held previously in Rochester (1989), Big Sky (1991), Belgium (1993), Volga River (1995), Washington DC (1999), Dallas (2003), Salamanca (2006) and Zion National Park (2009). It is our pleasure to hold the meeting for the first time in China. The purpose of SILAP is to provide a forum to review the most important and latest developments of Super Intense Laser-Atom Physics, to exchange the update research achievements and future trends in Super Intense Laser-Atom Physics, to promote Super Intense Laser-Atom Physics applications and to provide the potential collaboration opportunities in the world. We are looking forward to your contribution and participation.
