OIDA Workshop on State of the Art Integrated Photonics

OIDA Workshop on State of the Art Integrated Photonics

05 - 05 November 2014
The Optical Society (OSA) Headquarters, Washington, DC, USA

Learn about the New State of the Art in Photonic Integration for Optical Communications

This workshop continues a series of OIDA workshops that reviews the state of the art in photonic integration in optical communications. It aims to address several questions:
  • How does photonic integration address the emerging business needs of optical communications?
  • What is the experience of deployment?
  • What are the novel integration concepts and what are the key challenges in productization?
  • Which forms of integration match specific applications within communications?
  • What are some of the new and noteworthy products being commercialized today?
The workshop will examine the commercialization of components and subsystems and their applications, as opposed to purely research achievements in photonic integration. Applications across telecom and data center networks will also be discussed.

Who Should Attend
  • System integration engineers
  • Optical and electronic component engineers
  • Investors, CEOs, and marketing directors tracking the direction of integrated photonics
  • Industry analysts and consultants looking to understand the latest technology advances in integrated photonics

OIDA will also be holding the 21st Annual Forum on Tuesday, 4 November. The Annual Forum brings key stakeholders together to maximize discussion between industry, government, and academic decision-makers. Workshop attendees can register to attend the forum for a discounted price.Registration and Travel
