ASTM Committee E12 on Color and Appearance was formed in 1948. E12 meets twice a year, with about 35 members attending two days of technical meetings. The Committee, with a membership of approximately 160, currently has jurisdiction of 72 standards, published February in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 6.01
