James G. Fujimoto
James Fujimoto is Elihu Thomson Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT. He served as co-chair of several OSA conferences including CLEO, ECBO and Ultrafast Phenomena. Dr. Fujimoto was on the OSA board from 2000-03 and is currently on the board of the SPIE. He is co-recipient of the 2002 Rank Prize and 2012 Champalimaud Vision Prize and received the 2011 Zeiss Research Award. Dr. Fujimoto is in the National Academy of Engineering, National Academy of Sciences and American Academy of Arts Sciences, and is an OSA, APS and IEEE Fellow.
