Jeremy N Munday earned his BS in Physics from Middle Tennessee State University in 2003, and his PhD in Physics from Harvard University in 2008. After completion of his PhD, he did postdoctoral work at Caltech, until 2011. That year, he became an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, where he became an Associate Professor in 2017. In 2019, Munday moved to the University of California, Davis. as a Full Professor. He has received a number of awards, including the Adolph Lomb Medal “for pioneering contributions to plasmonic and photonic light-trapping in solar cells.” He is a Fellow of the society.
