Deborah C. Herrin earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. She worked for many years at the International Student Exchange Program before joining The Optical Society in 1996. Today, she is Senior Director of IT at Optica. She received the first Treasurer’s Award in 2016, “For outstanding leadership, impeccable standards and visionary contributions to the development of systems and technical solutions to support OSA’s myriad programs.”
