Honoring Monika Ritsch-Marte

I first met Monika 10 years ago at a conference she had organised on Optical Tweezers at Obergurgl. There are people who write papers and then there are the people who write the papers that I wish I had written. Monika's paper are special, not for her the constant recycling of the same idea, rather she and her team write beautiful papers each containing the fresh idea of a creative mind. I don't paper stalk many people -- but her papers I most definitely do!
