Dominique has been my soulmate since Graduate School at the University of Rochester. Through working at the US Naval Research Laboratory, in the private sector at Alcatel, and Avanex, and finally as a program director at NSF, she has always encouraged the participation of woman in science in K-12, undergraduate and graduate school. She has been a real inspiration for our daughters and other woman friends. She has had a big impact on my life since we have been married for more than 30 years.
