It is my great pleasure to work with Michal's group through my PhD career. As a pioneering scientist in silicon photonics, she is always very motivating and encouraging. One example is that she spent three hours with me on the CLEO presentation and went through every single detail to push me to be better and better. I couldn't have won the award without her help. I would like to thank her for all her supports to me. And congratulations to her for winning the R.W. Wood Prize!
