Dr. Margaret Murnane was an incredible role model and an inspiration to me through my three years of working for her. She is a brilliant scientist in the ultrafast field, and an exceptional leader dedicated to fostering a creative and supportive research environment for all. Margaret was the best mentor I could have asked for, and encouraged me in all my career endeavors, within and outside of research. Above all, she is a genuinely kind individual who wants the absolute best for her students.
