Honoring Yuhong Bai

I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Dr. Yuhong Bai, the Director of the Journals Office in Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), who led her team to set up the first English-language journal Light: Science & Applications in CIOMP. The journal recently reached a new milestone with a 2014 Impact Factor of 14.603, placing it second in the globally competitive Optics category.
