Honoring Melanie Ott

I first met Melanie in 2005. I was junior staff at CNES, and I had just been tasked with getting a fibre laser in space (the first one, to my knowledge). I attended an ESA/NASA workshop, and found a gold mine of information in Melanie's presentation. No one had worked on these subject before at CNES; that presentation saved us from a several pitfalls on fibre/connectors choice and implementation. Over the years, Melanie, no problems but into "solution space", has always inspired and helped!
