I sincerely thank Dr.Marija Strojnik for encouraging me to follow the “path of light”, sharing generously her deep knowledge of optics as my adviser, his love for science as a researcher and her joy for living as a person. Along the last years, both as a scientist, or an engineer, I can see how much Dr. Marija has expanded my vision of the world and how she has influenced even my own students in their scientific formation processes.
