In the five years Margaret advised me she taught me so much, not only about being a technically good scientist, but to really care about how science and technology can impact the world. She was always so giving with her time, especially in trying to foster scientific creativity in underrepresented groups. In particular, she would let me lead tours through her labs for 20-30 underrepresented middle school children each semester, which they loved! She is a true role model for all scientists!
