I would like to honour my PhD co-supervisor Dr. Nicolas Godbout at École Polytechnique de Montréal. Nicolas believed in me since day one. This gave me the necessary confidence to go through my PhD. His practical approach and extensive knowledge of optical engineering enhanced by excellence in transferring his knowledge, brought home the excitement of photonics for me. Since I founded Neurescence, I frequently get start up advice from Nicolas, who is also the co-founder of Castor Optics.
