Honoring David Fried

After working in an unrelated field for 10 years I read a paper by Dr. David Fried and learned that his company, the Optical Sciences Company, was just down the street. I am grateful to him for taking a risk, offering me a position, and allowing me to learn the field from him and other tOSC staff. He has made a major impact on my technical career and after 27 years I continue to turn to him for advice and insight.
