Prof. Y.J Chen encouraged me to apply to his Grad School and mentored me to grow into an optical professional. He had very good reputation in the industry, and was very good with hands-on experience. He helped me to understand many practical issues in design and measurement of opitcal communication systems. I really appreciate his work and look forward to passing on the skills to the next generation.
