I was incredibly fortunate to have Jeff as my PhD advisor. I have never met anyone who can come close to his altruism and his positive outlook on science and on life in general. He is a true visionary who continues to push the envelope (pun intended) on ultra-short pulse laser applications. Jeff allowed me to stumble, learn, discover and grow...and I cannot thank him enough!
