Honoring Max Amon

Max Amon was one of the most gifted optical designers I had the honor of working under. He was never too busy t take the time to teach lens design forms and optimization strategies when I was starting out in the field. He provided a vision for my career and reinforced it with encouragement and a belief that I could succeed for which I will always be grateful. His style of mentoring resulted in a friendship which allowed us to share about our families and our love for performing music.
