Claude Fedele was a tremendous help to me when I was getting started in the optics field. Claude always took time to explain the problem and what solution options would be available. Claude's technical knowledge of geometrical optics, coupled with a good dose of common sense made him a tremendous asset to all who worked with him. Claude also loves a good joke and would put the situation at ease with a well timed anecdote. He is a genuine pleasure to be around.
