Honoring Dr. Leon Esterowitz

I had the honor to be hired by Dr. Leon Esterowitz immediately upon finishing my PhD. Leon was a mentor that trained and advised all of our team to drive us to think outside of the goal,to build confidence in our scientific and engineering capabilities, but most importantly, he lifted each staff member above himself so we could shine, could gain community visibility, and take the lead roles on publications and presentations. Each of these mentoring steps helped to enhance our careers rapidly.
