Peter Franken was my mentor and colleague for two decades. His infectious joy in pursuing invention and innovation every day made it a privilege to work with him. Brainstorming the possible and then making it happen was his goal. His confidence ignored failures while always seeking new paths forward. My own life has followed this path, and it will never be possible to know how much of my life was altered by this unique collaboration with a kindred spirit. Thank you, Peter.
