Honoring Zhimin Shi

Prior to the summer of 2016, I had no particular drives towards what I wanted to research. However, I was sure of wanting to work under Dr. Shi, who had been my professor prior to this experience. What I hadn’t anticipated was the fact that I’d be doing much more beyond research. Dr. Shi formatted my experience so that I could be capable of giving a talk at the FiO 2016 Conference. I never would’ve thought I had any place at such an event, but Dr. Shi made it a reality for me.
