I would like to honor Dr. Sébastien Blais-Ouellette, the president & CEO of Photon Etc., for being a backbone for photonics industry in Quebec. I met Sébastien through an industry event we organized as the OSA student chapter in École Polytechnique de Montréal. It was immediately obvious how much he cares about the photonics community. His friendly mannerism made it easy for us to approach. When I founded Neurescence, He was one of the few people who strongly and truly supported my efforts.
