I remember the day I first met Pietro. I received a phone call from him, the director of the Institute of Applied Science and Intelligent Systems. He proposed me to have a meeting to discuss some possible collaborations on outreach activities. We had it. We were supposed to speak about outreach, but actually we spoke about culture, science, philosophy and interdisciplinary. That was the moment I thought he could be my mentor.
