This group discusses the technologies used in manufacturing applications that employ both CW and pulsed lasers for cutting, drilling and welding processes. Also included in the scope of this group is the use of lasers to monitor processing and quality control in industrial manufacturing as well as other commercial usage of lasers such as surveying and alignment applications.
