I forgot my OSA password; how can I retrieve it?

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it online by visiting the My Account section of (this is located at the top blue bar of every page). You will be prompted to enter your email address.

Alternatively, you may submit a Help Ticket or contact Customer Service by telephone at +1 202.416.1907 or +1 800.766.4672 (US/Canada only). Note: Customer Service Department hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (US East Coast Time) Monday through Friday.

What is Optics & Photonics CONNECT?

Optics & Photonics CONNECT is a free online program that provides access to optics and photonics resources and services, as well as a link to the OSA community.

Can I upgrade to a full OSA membership?

Yes, all those enrolled CONNECT may upgrade to a full OSA membership. Join OSA as a member today!

How do I access the Optics & Photonics CONNECT resources?

Go to the "Communities" section listed in the top navigation of every page. You will see a link to CONNECT on the main page of that section as well as on the navigation bar on teh left. You will be prompted to login using your email address and your OSA password. (Note: Your OSA password will be your ID number unless you requested it to be changed.)

How long is an Optics & Photonics CONNECT term?

The term for the CONNECT does not expire.

What are the requirements to join CONNECT?

There are no financial or technical requirements to join. The enrollment is free of charge and the online registration form takes about 3-4 minutes to complete.
