U.S. Export Controls for Optical Equipment



The U.S. Departments of State, Defense and Commerce have released a proposed rule revising the U.S. Munitions List Category XII describing which technologies are covered and which items should be removed and placed on the less restrictive Commerce Control List. During CLEO:2015 government and industry experts provided an overview of the proposed rule and explained how industry can comment now through July 6.
