The OSA Foundation (OSAF) today announced a new fiscal sponsorship agreement with the International Commission for Optics (ICO) that will allow charitable donations made to the OSA Foundation to be earmarked for ICO outreach activities.

Six members of the Optical Society (OSA) were elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in scientific research and engineering.
