The Optical Society Presents the 2016 Imaging and Applied Optics Congress

OSA’s Imaging and Applied Optics Congress provides a comprehensive view of the latest developments in imaging and applied optical sciences


Washington — The Optical Society (OSA) presents the 2016 Imaging and Applied Optics Congress, providing attendees and media a comprehensive preview of the latest technological advancements in imaging and applied optical sciences, covering the forefront advances in imaging and applied optics as well as the application of these technologies to important industrial, military and medical challenges.

This congress will feature networking programming, a roundtable discussion on Advanced 3D Displays and a special ‘Light the Future’ speaker series with Joseph Izatt, Duke University, Durham, NC, USA, (Lighting up the Future of Medical Imaging and Image-Guided Therapy); and Bernard Kress, Microsoft, Redmond, WA, USA (The Light Years Ahead: How Today’s Promising Augmented and Virtual Reality Markets Help Shape New Optics Frontiers).
