The Optical Society Hosts Annual 2016 Biomedical Optics Topical Meetings Conference in
Fort Lauderdale, Florida


WASHINGTON – The Optical Society’s (OSA) Optics and Photonics Congresses will host a series of topical meetings beginning on Monday, 25 April 2016 and closing on Thursday, 28 April 2016 at The Diplomat Resort and Spa, Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA.  Advancements in biomedical optics and biophotonics are fueling new questions in medicine and are enabling novel techniques in diagnosing and treating intensive ailments such as neurological diseases and cancer. The Optics and Photonics Congresses will focus on technological solutions to medical challenges and applications that complement OSA Congress’ focus on optics in the life sciences. With over 400 attendees expected, the annual Biomedical Optics topical meetings attract global leaders in engineering, optics and medicine, as well as graduate students from around the world.

All attendees must register to attend this conference. Registration begins on Sunday, 24 April 2016 at 15:00-18:00. Monday, 25 April 2016 and Tuesday, 26 April 2016 registration times are from 7:30-17:30 and on Wednesday, 27 April 2016 and Thursday, 28 April 2016 registration times are from 7:30-18:00.
