The Optical Society to Host an Incubator Meeting on Adaptive Structured Illumination in Microscopy

Join us for a discussion on the applied applications of ‘Structured Illumination’ (SI) throughout photonics

WASHINGTON – The Optical Society (OSA) is hosting an Incubator meeting on Adaptive Structured Illumination on Wednesday, 4 November to Friday, 6 November at OSA. The purpose of this Incubator meeting is to explore the structuring and patterning of light fields throughout photonics in five key areas: functional imaging at depth, reducing the photon budget, transmission through complex media, fundamentals of orthogonality and information transfer, and structured illumination (SI).

WHAT: Adaptive Structured Illumination Incubator
WHEN: Wednesday, 4 November to Friday, 6 November 2015
WHERE: The Optical Society (OSA), 2010 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC, USA
HOSTED BY: Kishan Dholakia, University of St. Andrews, United Kingdom
Michael Mazilu, University of St. Andrews, United Kingdom
Meng Cui, Purdue University, United States
